Anakonda Amazon Cruise

Launched only in 2013, the Anakonda is the newest and certainly most luxurious of the Amazon River cruise ships to be running the Rio Napo, affording up to 40 guests a superb opportunity to discover the mystery of the Amazon Basin in elegant style.

Spread out over three spacious decks, the boat’s 14 generous suites, 4 staterooms and ample social areas offer the latest word in modern design and comfort.

All cabins boast floor-to-ceiling picture windows from which to enjoy the views of the passing rainforest. Large and luxurious beds, individual climate control and well-appointed private bathrooms equipped with massage showers give the sense of staying in a luxury hotel rather than on a riverboat. The staterooms also have private balconies and Jacuzzi baths.

The social areas include a reading room, panoramic lounge bar, indoor dining room, boutique store, al-fresco lounge and dining and a highly impressive observation sun deck complete with two Jacuzzis–perfect for relaxation after a hard day’s exploration of the Ecuadorian Amazon rainforest.

Alongside the comfort come exceptional levels of service and first class cuisine, which takes the best local produce to create excellent Ecuadorian dishes alongside international classics.

Anakonda is equipped with three motor-canoes for taking guests to land-based excursions and 10 kayaks for individual exploration of the fascinating black water creeks and lagoons that are such an important part of the Amazon basin’s myriad ecosystems.

On board the boat are 4 local and 4 bi-lingual naturalist guides who will delight in helping you interpret and understand the extraordinary biodiversity that makes this Ecuadorian Amazon River cruise one of the most unique and special places in the world.

The Anakonda Amazon River cruise offers 3, 4 and 7 night itineraries all with excellent opportunities to visit the jungle on foot and to share cultural exchanges with local communities. This Amazon River cruise on board the Anakonda will be a truly special occasion and an unforgettable life adventure.
